Man charged after woman jumps from vehicle
A 30-year-old Waianae man has been charged for allegedly abusing a woman before she jumped from a moving vehicle.
Eric Edwards was charged Thursday with abuse of a family or household member. His bail was set at $4,000.
Police said Edwards assaulted the 27-year-old woman in a moving vehicle about 2 p.m. Oct. 30. The woman then jumped from the vehicle and sustained further injuries.
Edwards was located and arrested at his home on Wednesday.
