Lianne Chan, left, and Mike Nahoopii were among the many on-lookers and bidders that gathered today at a sprawling, two-story oceanside estate at 4631 Kahala Avenue for an auction of Genshiro Kawamoto's items. Over the past 10 years Kawamoto amassed an eclectic collection of furnishings, arts and objects for his Kahala homes. Kawamoto sold his portfolio of 27 Kahala properties and four other Hawaii parcels to Alexander & Baldwin Inc. for $98 million in September.
