OXFORD, Miss. >> Bo Wallace threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as No. 12 Mississippi snapped a two-game losing streak Saturday with a 48-0 win over Presbyterian.

Wallace was 11 for 15 for 140 yards, including scoring strikes of 66 and 23 yards to Vince Sanders and ran for a 9-yard score as the Rebels (8-2,4-2 SEC West) built a 35-0 halftime lead.

Ole Miss finished with 640 yards of total offense, despite playing exclusively with reserves in the second half.

Mark Dodson scored on first-half runs of 65 and 62 yards. In the second half, Jordan Wilkins scored on a 73-yard run and DeVante Kincade threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to Derrick Jones.

Presbyterian (5-5, 2-2 Big South) dropped to 0-9 against FBS opponents, including losses at North Carolina State and Northern Illinois this season.

Presbyterian managed 156 yards of total offense and controlled the ball for more than 33 minutes, but never crossed the Ole Miss 38-yard line.

The blowout was a welcome sight for the announced crowd of 60,546 in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, providing relief after a pair of difficult SEC West Division defeats.

The Rebels started the season 7-0 and ranked No. 3 in the AP poll before falling to Auburn and LSU. Both losses included turnovers on the final offensive series as the Rebels were in position for potential game-winning scores.

Ole Miss is currently 11th in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Mississippi lost several key performers to injuries and played without eight starters who didn’t dress out against Presbyterian. Ole Miss gets a bye before closing at Arkansas and hosting rival and No. 1 Mississippi State.

Defensively, Presbyterian couldn’t stop the big-play production by the Ole Miss starters or reserves, despite a game-high 13 tackles and an interception from Ed Britt.

Sanders added another 23-yard touchdown reception to cap the first half outburst. In the second half, Wilkins ended the scoring with a 73-yard touchdown run with 10:01 remaining.

Kincade and Ryan Buchanan were 7 of 8 and 6 of 7 passing, respectively, combining for 98 yards in the second half. Wilkins and Dodson rushed for 171 and 128 yards, respectively.

The Rebels struggled with their kicking game as place kicker Gary Wunderlich was sidelined with a pulled hamstring. Ole Miss missed a field goal, a PAT and had a field goal attempt blocked.
