More computers stolen from UH offices
University of Hawaii-Manoa campus security and the Honolulu Police Department were investigating the theft of computers at two UH offices Thursday night — the third batch of computer thefts in two months.
According to campus security officials, the burglar or burglars pried open door locks to gain entry to two offices in Bilger Hall. The break-in was discovered during a route security patrol at about 1 a.m. Friday.
On Oct. 11 someone broke into four classrooms and stole iMac computers. Door locks to the rooms in Saunders Hall were pried open just before 2 a.m., campus security said.
In September four computers were stolen from Dean Hall. The burglars entered the building through a window, campus security said.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call campus security at 956-6911 or police.
