A live snake was discovered at a Keaau store on Hawaii island. Workers offloading a 40-foot shipping container that arrived from California saw the 2-foot-long reptile, which has been identified as a nonvenomous brown gopher snake. The animal is commonly found in North America and can grow up to 7 feet.
