Author and educator Frances H. Kakugawa will conduct a series of book signings on Maui and in Hilo this month, as well as in Honolulu in June, for her latest title on taking care of people with Alzheimer’s disease.
Her new book, "I Am Somebody: Bringing Dignity and Compassion to Alzheimer’s Caregiving" (Watermark Publishing, 2014), recommends viewing the responsibility as a gift, not a burden.
