Seminar focuses on cultivating healthy skin, avoiding surgery
Kaiser Permanente and YWCA will present an informational lunch and seminar, "Face Facts: Retain and Reclaim Your Healthy Skin," from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at YWCA Laniakea Fuller Hall, 1040 Richards St.
Physician assistant Dorothy Maurice from Kaiser Permanente’s cosmetic dermatology department will speak about ways to achieve a healthier appearance without surgery, understand how frown lines and jowls can be diminished or eliminated, and learn about treatment methods that could reduce acne scars, brown spots, sun damage and more.
