Teen arrested in deadly attack near downtown Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS >> A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder in an attack that left a man dead near downtown Las Vegas.
Police say the victim was walking on a sidewalk in the 2900 block of Fremont Street late Friday night when a sedan occupied by several people pulled up.
After they left the vehicle and attacked the man, one of the suspects shot him before the suspects fled in the vehicle.
The victim was rushed to University Medical Center, where he died. His name wasn’t immediately released.
Eighteen-year-old Yors Garcia-Mier was booked into the Clark County jail for investigation of murder.
Police also are looking for a person of interest described as a Hispanic man in the case.
