UH soccer team loses at Cal Poly
The Hawaii women’s soccer team hung with Big West Conference leader Cal Poly for a while, but gave up a flurry of goals at the end in a 5-2 loss in San Luis Obispo, Calif., Sunday.
UH (6-8-2, 1-4 BWC) got goals from Krystal Pascua and Alexis Colacchio and had it tied up at 2-2 in the 70th minute. But things unraveled from there as the Mustangs (8-5-2, 5-0-1) scored three unanswered.
It was UH’s seventh loss in eight games after starting the season 5-1-2.
The Rainbow Wahine play their final home matches of the year in the coming week on Friday and Sunday.
