Rowena Walker and Gene Kanaha Jr.

Rowena Hokunani Walker and Gene Palaile Kanaha Jr. were married Nov. 29 at Chapel of the Fountain at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David Gillentine. The only guest was their 1-year-old daughter, Kaiwinani.

The bride is the daughter of Joyce Emma Akana of Kohala, Hawaii, and is a massage therapist.

The groom is the son of Gene and Oriette L. Kanaha of Waimanalo and is a truck driver.

The couple resides in Waimanalo.
