Police look for Waikiki purse snatcher
Police are looking for a man who attempted to steal a woman’s bag in Waikiki.
The 45-year-old woman reported the purse-snatching occurred about 9:20 p.m. Oct. 16 in Waikiki, police said.
Police said the man allegedly tried to grab the woman’s bag, and the two struggled.
The man, who is unknown, fled empty-handed.
The second-degree robbery case was turned over to the Robbery Detailon Wednesday.
