Stretch of Kamehameha Highway reopened after spill
Police reopened a section of Kamehameha Highway in both directions Wednesday afternoon after crews removed a hazardous materials spill in Kahaluu.
The highway between Honekoa and Lulani streets was closed from 4:23 p.m. to around 5 p.m.
Firefighters responded to the 3:49 p.m. call of a spill of 45 gallons of an unknown liquid substance.
