Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota was named the national offensive player of the week by the Senior Bowl on Monday.
Mariota surpassed 10,000 career all-purpose yards in a 45-20 win over Washington on Saturday, completing 24 of 33 pass attempts for 336 yards and two touchdowns.
The junior, a 2011 Saint Louis alumnus, has yet to throw an interception this season and is completing 70 percent (132-for-188) of his passes for 1,957 yards and 19 touchdowns.
He leads the country in passing efficiency at 191.0.
Mariota has run for 1,756 yards and 19 touchdowns in his career but was held to negative yards against the Huskies due to three sacks.
Washington linebacker Hau’oli Kikaha was in on all three of them and continues to hold the FBS lead in sacks this season with 121/2 and tackles for loss at 151/2.
Kikaha, a 2010 Kahuku alumnus, finished with a game-high 10 tackles in addition to 2 1/2 sacks and has recorded at least one sack in all seven games this year.
Oregon defensive end DeForest Buckner, a 2012 Punahou alumnus, finished with 21/2 tackles for loss and six total.
