Police are searching for an unidentified man who allegedly injured a 38-year-old man during a robbery in Kailua on Friday afternoon.
Police said the victim found the suspect in his residence. A struggle ensued, during which the suspect used a dangerous instrument to injure the victim.
Homeless man charged in 2 sex assaults
A homeless man has been charged with sexually assaulting two women in downtown Honolulu.
The Honolulu prosecutor’s office said in a news release that a grand jury indicted Reginald Johnson on Tuesday. Johnson is being held on $11,000 bail.
The office said Johnson, 31, approached the women as they were walking, struck up a conversation and then asked for phone numbers. When they refused and walked away, he allegedly grabbed them, kissed them and groped them. The indictment says one woman was assaulted in January and the other in April near Fort Street Mall.
Boy arrested in alleged assault on teacher
Police arrested a 14-year-old boy Tuesday for allegedly assaulting a 45-year-old female teacher at a Makiki school. The boy was arrested at 8:45 a.m. on suspicion of second-degree assault and later released pending investigation.
