The event, slated for 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, will be held in front of the Gandhi statue in Waikiki, near the Honolulu Zoo entrance. Now in its ninth year, the celebration will feature interfaith dialogue for world peace, a candle lighting ceremony, multicultural dances and music by the Royal Hawaiian Band.
