>> Jesse Correa, Saint Louis ’12: The Western Oregon sophomore was named the Red Lion Great Northwest Athletic Conference special teams player of the week on Monday. Correa made both extra points and booted field goals of 42 and 39 yards in a 26-14 win at Humboldt State on Saturday. Correa finished the season with 10 field goals in 15 tries, including three of more than 40 yards.
>> Geoffrey Miller, Punahou ’10: The Cornell (Iowa) College linebacker had nine tackles and a sack in a 45-0 win over Grinnell (Iowa) College on Saturday. Miller ends the regular season as the Division III active leader with 234 solo tackles. He will play in the Division III Senior Classic Bowl Game in Salem, Va., on Dec. 13.
>> Eli Biondine, Saint Louis ’12: The Linfield (Ore.) linebacker forced a fumble that he recovered on a kickoff return in a 28-22 win over Pacific (Ore.) to help the Wildcats finish the regular season 9-0 and 6-0 in the NWC.
Women’s volleyball
>> Ali Santi, Punahou ’11: The UC Santa Barbara junior combined for 42 assists and 11 digs in a three-set win over UC Davis on Thursday and a five-set victory over Cal State Northridge on Saturday.
>> Malia Patterson, Punahou ’10: The UTEP senior setter had a match-high 45 assists in a three-set sweep of East Carolina on Sunday.
>> Kea-Marie Olaso, Le Jardin ’12: The New Haven (Conn.) sophomore became the fastest player in school history to reach 1,000 digs, finishing with a match-high 13 in a three-set sweep of Southern Connecticut State last Tuesday.
>> Cyndi Asuncion, Hawaii Baptist ’12: The Long Island-Brooklyn hitter hit .462 with seven kills, six digs and two block assists in a three-set sweep of Bryant (R.I.) University on Sunday to finish a perfect 14-0 in the Northeast Conference.
>> Kaeli Patton, Radford ’10: The Portland State senior had 12 kills, six digs, a block assist and an ace in a five-set victory over North Dakota last Thursday.

>> Dane Pestano, Kamehameha ’13: The Iowa State freshman went 2-2 to finish in fifth place at 197 pounds at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open on Saturday.
>> Shayden Terukina, Kamehameha ’11: The Iowa State redshirt sophomore went 2-2 at 141 pounds on Saturday.
>> Jacob Luning-Hoshino, Kamehameha ’11: The Midland (Neb.) junior went 1-2 at 141 pounds at the Cyclone Open.
>> L.J. Remillard, Punahou ’13: The Brown freshman went 5-2, with one win by pinfall, to finish sixth at 157 pounds at the East Stroudsburg Open on Sunday.

>> Evan Johnson, Punahou ’11: The Johns Hopkins junior went 2-2 to place fourth at 184 pounds in the Messiah Invitational earlier this month.
>> Brandon Oshiro, Maryknoll ’10: The Mayville (Mo.) University senior went 2-2 at 133 pounds at the Central Missouri open on Saturday.
>> Cassidy Oshiro, Maryknoll ’12: The Air Force freshman went 1-2 at 125 pounds in three dual-meet wins for the Falcons on Friday.
Men’s cross country
>> Pierce Murphy, Island School ’11: The Colorado sophomore led the Buffs with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Mountain Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday, finishing the 10K in 29 minutes, 46.0 seconds.
>> Justin Higa, ‘Iolani ’11: The Puget Sound junior finished the men’s 8K race in 27:01.31 for 59th place at the NCAA Division III West Regional on Saturday.
>> Gary Fanelli, Damien ’13: The Pacific (Ore.) freshman finished 123rd with a time of 29:55.44 at the NCAA Division III West Regional.
Women’s cross country
>> Jenna Wong, ‘Iolani ’10: The Occidental (Calif.) senior finished the women’s 6K race in 22:55.19 to place 16th and earn all-region honors at the NCAA Division III West Regional on Saturday.
>> Sophie Curatilo, Moanalua ’11: The Seattle University junior finished 98th with a personal-record time of 21:24 in the women’s 6K race at the NCAA Division I West Regional on Friday.
Women’s soccer
>> Tani Costa, Kalani ’09: The Penn State senior scored twice to set a career high with 10 goals this season in a 3-0 victory over Monmouth (N.J.) in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday. The Nittany Lions play Wake Forest in the second round on Friday.
>> Caprice Dydasco, Kamehameha ’11: The UCLA junior assisted on the Bruins’ first goal in the opening minute of a 3-0 win over San Diego State on Friday in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The Bruins host Kentucky on Friday in the second round.
Women’s swimming
>> Beth Tsuha, Hilo ’13: The Grinnell (Iowa) College freshman was named the Midwest Conference’s women’s swimming and diving performer of the week last week. Tsuha kicked off her collegiate swimming career with a victory in the 200-yard freestyle event (2:00.42) in a dual meet at Luther. She was also second in the 50 freestyle (25.74) and third in the 100 freestyle (56.17).
HONOR ROLL
2 named All-Northwest Conference
Two players with local ties were named first-team All-Northwest Conference on Tuesday.
Pacific Lutheran defensive back Sean McFadden (Punahou ’10) was selected for the second year in a row and third time in his career. McFadden tied for the team lead with three interceptions and was second in tackles with 55.
Pacific (Ore.) wide receiver Jordan Fukumoto (Saint Louis ’10) bounced back from a broken leg in his first game of 2012 to make the team for the first time since 2011.
The junior finished fourth in the conference with 712 receiving yards and averaged a league-best 18.2 yards per catch. In a win over Occidental (Calif.) in September, Fukumoto had seven catches for 197 yards and three touchdowns to earn the conference’s player of the week award on offense.
Fukumoto caught eight touchdown passes from quarterbacks P.J. Minaya (Hanalani ’10) and T.C. Campbell (Kamehameha ’10), who both earned honorable-mention honors.
Minaya completed 65 percent (108-for-167) of his passes for 1,426 yards and 16 touchdowns. Campbell was 65-for-103 (63 percent) for 980 yards and nine touchdowns and also rushed for 102 yards and a score.
The trio helped Pacific finish 7-3 overall and 3-3 in conference.
