Kaneohe man arrested for alleged assault on police officer
A man arrested for drinking and driving is facing a more serious charge, after he allegedly assaulted a police officer.
Police said the 53-year-old Kaneohe man was initially arrested in Chinatown Tuesday night.
After his arrest, the suspect allegedly assaulted an officer and was arrested at the Queen’s Medical Center at about 8:36 p.m. for the more serious offense.
