No. 8 Hawaii sweeps UC Irvine in volleyball
Emily Hartong and Jane Croson each put down 14 kills as No. 8 Hawaii stayed unbeaten in Big West Conference volleyball play with a 25-18, 25-11, 25-18 victory over UC Irvine tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Libero Ali Longo had 12 digs for the Rainbow Wahine (11-2, 4-0 Big West) in the 83-minute match.
Sydney Wright led the Anteaters (7-9, 2-1) with eight kills.
Hawaii hosts Long Beach State Saturday at 7 p.m. The 49ers lost at Cal State Northridge tonight in four.
