» Hui Nalu-40’s Revolusun finished fifth overall and first in the Masters 40-and-older division at Sunday’s Na Wahine o ke Kai outrigger canoe paddling race. The crew completed the 41-mile course from Molo­kai to Wai­kiki in 5 hours, 53 minutes and 1 second. Team Bora Bora was incorrectly listed as the fifth-place overall finisher in a Page C1 story Monday.

» The U.S. Senate voted 78-22 in favor of the stopgap funding bill authorizing U.S. support for Syrian rebels fighting against Islamic State forces. The "How Your Lawmakers Voted" chart on Page B4 Sunday reported that the vote tally was 73-22.

» A Rosh Hashana evening service is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Temple Emanu-El Hono­lulu, 2550 Pali Highway. The service will feature the Elissa Joseph­sohn High Holy Days Choir. A calendar of events that appeared on Page B4 Saturday omitted the service.
