Man indicted in stabbing death of homeless man in Kailua
The man accused of fatally stabbing a homeless man in Kailua in January is awaiting extradition from California and remains in custody in lieu of $5 million bail.
An Oahu grand jury returned an indictment March 11, charging Robert Roediger-Geauque with murder for the Jan. 13 stabbing death of Scott MacMillan.
Police in Santa Barbara arrested Roediger-Geauque on March 6 based on a Hawaii arrest warrant.
Honolulu police released security video of a suspect in the murder near the stairwell where MacMillan was fatally stabbed. The stairwell is in a building on Uluniu Street near Cinnamon’s Restaurant Kailua.
