The median price of condominiums sold on Kauai and Hawaii island rose in March but single-family home purchases were mixed.
On the Garden Isle, condo prices increased 26.3 percent to $360,000 from $285,000, while on Hawaii island they edged up 0.3 percent to $310,750 from $309,950, according to data released Friday from Hawaii Information Service.
Single-family home prices slipped 0.05 percent on Kauai to $491,250 from $491,500 but rose 25.6 percent on Hawaii island to $270,000 from $215,000.
Sales rose for both housing sectors on Kauai as home sales grew 12.5 percent to 36 from 32 and condo sales gained 13 percent to 26 from 23.
On Hawaii island, home sales fell 13.7 percent to 139 from 161 and condo sales edged up 3.8 percent to 54 from 52.
