After untying a maile lei, Gov. Neil Abercrombie kissed Minda Golez, an Institute for Human Services director, at the official opening and blessing of a new IHS facility that will contain its housing and employment services. The new facility is next door to IHS’ Kaaahi Service Center, which serves up to 100 single women and between 23 and 27 families a night.
