Love, by the numbers
Tuesday was a popular day for weddings, with many couples attracted by the sequence of numbers in the date — 11-12-13.
Having planned the date of their wedding 3 years ago, James Mull, 44, and Jennifer Melton, 40, both of Raleigh, center, tie the knot in front of friends, like Best Man Ray McRae, rear left, and Matron of Honor Susan Watson, right, and Melton’s sons Dane, 10, left, and Daniel Melton, 12. Couples turned out at the Wake County Justice Center to get married on Tuesday Nov. 12, 2013 by Judge Jeffrey P. Rowland in Raleigh, N.C. According to Judge Rowland, who had been officiating weddings for 25 years, the average number of weddings for a Tuesday is about five. On Tuesday 11/12/13 he performed 17.
