Sketch of sex assault suspect is released
Honolulu police released a sketch Friday of a suspect in the kidnapping and sex assault of a young girl in Waipahu on Thursday.
Police said the juvenile was walking on Farrington Highway in Waipahu at about 4:25 p.m. when she was approached from behind by a man who touched her inappropriately and wrestled her to the ground.
A witness driving by saw what happened and drove her vehicle toward the assailant, who fled on a bicycle.
Police did not release the age of the girl.

Motorcycle accident sends man to hospital
Paramedics took a 21-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition Friday morning following a motorcycle accident in Kailua.
Emergency Medical Services said the accident happened at 9:43 a.m. in the 1200 block of Kailua Road.
Second person is charged in burglary
Hawaii County police have charged a second suspect in connection with a burglary in Kailua-Kona on April 5.
Ammon K. Kamohai, 22, of Kailua-Kona was arrested Monday on two warrants for probation revocation in a drug case and on suspicion of promoting a dangerous drug. He was also wanted for questioning in connection with additional felonies.
Kamohai’s bail for the probation revocation charges was set at $100,000.
On Tuesday police arrested him on the additional felonies, including those connected with the April burglary on Queen Kalama Avenue.
Kamohai on Wednesday was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree theft, attempted second-degree theft and forgery in the April 5 burglary.
The other suspect in the April 5 burglary, Tonino Benson, 23, of Kailua-Kona, was charged April 12 with the same offenses.
Kamohai was also charged Wednesday with unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle for allegedly removing a vehicle from the parking lot of an apartment complex off Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona sometime between Sunday and Monday. His bail on those charges was $65,000.
Kamohai was not charged in the promoting a dangerous drug case pending additional investigation.
Fire destroys Big Isle home
Fire destroyed a multistory house in the Hawaiian Acres subdivision Friday morning, the Hawaii County Fire Department said. No one was injured.
A 10:47 a.m. alarm sent firefighters to a house on Hawaiian Acres Road, between Roads C and D. The house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at 11:02 a.m.
The loss was estimated at $60,000. Fifteen firefighters responded, including six volunteer firefighters.
