HPD seeks Kailua bank robber

Honolulu police have released a photo and description of a man who is suspected of robbing the Kailua branch of Hawaii National Bank on Friday afternoon.
Police described the man as in his 20s, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8, between 140 and 150 pounds and having wavy, dirty blond hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt, blue denim pants, slippers and sunglasses.
The man walked into the bank on Aulike Street just before 4:30 p.m., handed a demand note, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. It was unclear if he was armed.
