CORRECTION: Rashan Kuhaulua is a Kapaa High School pitcher. An earlier version of this story said he went to Waimea.
ILH stats site no more
The fan-friendly Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball statistics website of the past few years is now defunct.
Because the league came to agreement with a new set of umpires, the site that collected stats has gone cold. The previous group had official scorekeepers at every league game. Now decisions on errors and hits are being made by the scorekeeper of the home team.
At one recent ILH game, two plays — what appeared to be an error and a fielder’s choice — were ruled hits by the home team.
