Suspect charged in Sheridan Street attack
Police charged a 21-year-old Kalihi man Monday in connection with a stabbing on Sheridan Street on Sunday morning.
Richard Lam was initially arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder. He was charged Monday with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug. His bail was set at $100,000.
The victim, a 22-year-old man, was not seriously injured. He was transported to a hospital in stable condition following the incident.
Man, 18, is injured in Ewa Beach shooting
An 18-year-old man was seriously injured in a reported drive-by shooting in Ewa Beach on Monday night.
The incident took place on Kuilioloa Place at about 8:20 p.m.
The man was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local trauma center.
