Hard landing seriously injures paraglider
A 61-year-old paraglider was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when he made a hard landing on a hillside above Dillingham Airfield, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. near the Peacock Flats Jeep Trail, EMS said. The man was transported in serious condition to a trauma center.
Boy hospitalized after vehicle overturns
A 9-year-old boy was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a vehicle crash on Kamehameha Highway in Kualoa, Emergency Medical Services said.
EMS reported that a vehicle had overturned at 12:20 p.m. fronting Kualoa Ranch.
EMS paramedics transported the boy in serious condition to a trauma center.
