Former Hawaiian Airlines executive named CEO of Island Air
Former Hawaiian Airlines CEO Paul Casey, the current chairman of the Oahu Visitors Bureau, has been named chief executive officer of Island Air.
Casey was in a group seeking to buy the airline last year before owner Charlie Willis opted to sell it to billionare Larry Ellison, the CEO and co-founder of Oracle Corp. and the 97 percent owner of Lanai.
Les Murashige will continue on as Island Air’s president.
Casey was president and CEO at Hawawiian from 1997 to 2002.
