Maui-bred Chou to debut new jewelry in isles
Originally from Maui, New York-based jewelry designer Tiffany Chou is returning home for a couple of spring trunk shows on Maui and Oahu.
The designer will debut her newest collection, "Summer Romance 2013," and offer 10 percent to 15 percent discounts on past collections at select retailers.
Chou is known for her sea-inspired jewelry and accessories, incorporating elements such as vintage Swarovski crystals, lemon chrysoprase and rose quartz gemstones. Her collection features earrings, bracelets and necklaces that range from $132 to $240.
Tiffany Chou jewelry collections have been featured in publications such as Lucky, Marie Claire, People and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and have been worn by celebrities including Selena Gomez, Brooke Burke and Maria Sharapova.
The Maui trunk show is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at The Bikini Market, 1819 S. Kihei Road. On April 18, Chou will be at Fighting Eel Kailua, 629 Kailua Road, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Hawaii Opera Theatre is accepting donations through April 19 for its "Act II" fundraising fashion sale in mid-May.
The organization is looking for new or gently worn clothing and accessories for men and women, especially couture and designer gowns, cocktail dresses, sportswear (no lingerie or swimwear), shoes, handbags, scarves, jewelry and ties.
Home decor items, artwork and housewares are welcome.
Donations are being accepted at Hawaii Opera Plaza, 848 S. Beretania St., Suite 301. All donations are tax-deductible and will benefit the theater group.
