Wahiawa man, 23, arrested in connection with 2 robberies
A man was arrested by Wahiawa patrol officers Tuesday morning in connection with two recent robberies.
Police believe that the man, 23, was responsible for the robbery of a California Avenue commercial establishment on Aug. 1,. They think he also robbed a man, 22, walking along California Avenue on Aug. 12.
In at least one of the instances, a knife was used, police said.
The suspect was arrested about 11:25 a.m. at his Ohai Street address. He is being held pending two counts of first-degree robbery, kidnapping and first-degree terroristic threatening.
