Senate confirms Poelman for Maui District Court bench
The state Senate voted unanimously Monday to confirm Lloyd Poelman, a Wailuku attorney, as a District Court judge on Maui.
Poelman is a partner in Poelman & Langa and has also served as a per diem Family Court judge. He was nominated by Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald.
The appointment is for a six-year term.
Poelman has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and a law degree from Brigham Young University.
