Takeo back in action for fashion show
After a nearly two-year absence from the runway due to a stroke and open-heart surgery, Takeo is back and will be among designers in a fashion show March 17 at The Pacific Club.
"An Intimate Celebration of Joanna Sullivan’s Sense of Fashion" will also feature designs by Eric Chandler, Kimberly Williams, Anna Meng and a surprise designer.
The show will include designs in red to raise awareness of heart-health issues.
A tea reception begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by the fashion show and lunch. Tickets are $88; call Velma Wong at 226-2088.
The Pacific Club is at 1451 Queen Emma St.
