For instance, Jorge Garcia (Hurley on "Lost," which wrapped up six seasons of filming here in 2010) will emerge in a new CBS pilot, "The Ordained," co-starring Charlie Cox of "Boardwalk Empire."The latter plays Tom, from a Kennedy-type family, who leaves the priesthood to become a lawyer to prevent his politician sister from being assassinated. Garcia will be Carlos, Tom’s key buddy, a law firm investigator who chomps on hot dogs and clearly is not your cookie-cutter sleuth.…
Naveen Andrews (Sayid) is destined for ABC’s pilot "Reckless,"playing Roland, a renegade eager for a challenge for a price; he’s a British national and ex-Special Air Service member who works in deadly situations. He’s hired by David Rigger (Patrick Fugit, "Almost Famous") when David’s wife is unjustly imprisoned. …
Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond) will co-star in The CW’s sci-fi pilot "The Hundred" asKane, an officer on a space station called the Ark, where humans have survived97 years after Earth was destroyed in a nuclear war. …
Josh Holloway (Sawyer) is tapped for CBS’ "Intelligence" as Gabriel Black, a former Navy SEAL and a dedicated intelligence officer who has a microchip imbedded in his brain, allowing him to become a human computer of sorts. Joining him: Marg Helgenberger, fresh from her departure from "CSI," as Lillian, the director of Cybercom, the government’s cybersecurity branch, and James Martinez from "Breaking Bad." …
Mark Pellegrino (Jacob) is cast as Dr. Jedikiah Price, a biologist, on Fox’s "The Tomorrow People." …

REAL LIFE DRAMA:Playwright Daniel Akiyama, overseeing the Hawaii premiere of his "A Cage of Fireflies" at Kumu Kahua Theatre, discovered recently at intermission that Karen Yamamoto Hackler, playing Mitsuko in his three-character play, was ill and sent to the ER for a check. Facing cancellation, Akiyama was able to tap William Ha‘o to take on her role with only script in hand. So the exquisite and intimate treatise on the Okinawan experience in Hawaii — with sewing sisters Kimiko (Dian Kobayashi) and Yukiko (Kat Koshi) — couldresume, albeit as part readers theater. The audience loved it. …
