A 29-year-old man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly assaulted an ex-girlfriend and violated a temporary restraining order.

Police said the man pushed the 29-year-old woman during an argument May 31 in Waimanalo. The woman fell to the ground and later learned that she broke her wrist in the fall.

Police said the woman also had a temporary restraining order against the man, who violated the restraining order when he sent her an email.

Officers arrested the man Thursday at the main police station for investigation of assault and a temporary restraining order violation.
