The Gas Co. has rebranded itself as Hawai‘iGas and unveiled a new logo.
"This change better reflects the company’s identity as an important part of Hawaii’s energy community: proudly local and fully committed to clean technology and innovation," according to a news release from the company.
There is no change in the company’s legal name, ownership or management, but it will now do business as Hawai‘iGas, according to Jeff Kissel, president and chief executive officer of the Gas Co.
"We have simply adopted a new brand that represents our shared values and vision for the future," Kissel said.
The Gas Co. is a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly traded Macquarie Infrastructure Co., which owns operates and invests in a diversified group of businesses that provide airport services, bulk fuel storage terminals, natural gas processing and distribution and heating and cooling systems.
