Waipahu man reports home burglary, missing shotgun
A Waipahu man has reported that someone apparently broke into his home while he was on a weeklong vacation and stole a safe and a shotgun, according to a Honolulu Police report.
The incident happened sometime between 6 a.m. Sept. 4 and 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, when he returned to his home and found his safe and shotgun missing from a bedroom closet, police said.
Police are searching for an unknown suspect wanted for first-degree burglary.
