Fresno State QB Carr’s stats tweaked after scoring change
FRESNO, Calif. >> Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr’s statistics from the Bulldogs’ 52-51 overtime victory Thursday night against Rutgers have been adjusted after official scorers took away a completion that had been wiped out by a penalty.
Carr was originally credited with 53 completions on 74 attempts for 470 yards. The school announced Friday that a 14-yard completion on the second play of the fourth quarter that was taken away, leaving Carr 52 for 73 for 456 yards with five touchdowns in the 52-51 overtime victory.
Carr still set school and Mountain West Conference records for completions and passes.
