Woman is injured in morning crash on H-1

An accident on the Ewa-bound H-1 freeway just past the Vineyard Boulevard offramp sent a woman to the hospital Saturday, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.

The accident happened about 6:46 a.m. in the left lanes of the freeway.

Paramedics took the 55-year-old woman to the hospital in serious condition.

3-year-old falls off balcony in Waianae

Paramedics took a 3-year-old girl to the hospital Saturday after she fell 6 to 7 feet off a balcony at a Waianae home, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.

The accident happened about 11:13 a.m. on Water Street. The girl went to the hospital in serious condition.

2 girls are hurt as car slams into wall

A 2-year-old girl was seriously hurt and a 4-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when a car hit a wall in Enchanted Lake early Saturday.

The accident happened about 3:11 a.m. near 432 Keolu Drive, according to an Emergency Medical Services report. Paramedics took both children to the hospital.

Man allegedly tries to steal police car

An 18-year-old Kapolei man was arrested in Waikiki early Saturday morning for allegedly trying to steal a police car.

According to police, a Honolulu police officer saw the man enter the car and attempt to start it.

The incident occurred around 2:38 a.m. near the intersection of Lewers Street and Kalakaua Avenue.

The man was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized control of a motorized vehicle.
