Boa constrictor is killed on Pali Highway

The motorist pulled over, picked up the snake and took it to a relative’s home, the department said. The driver called the department the next day, and after Plant Quarantine Division inspectors picked up the snake, they went directly to the area where it was found but did not find evidence of any other snakes. Snakes are illegal to possess and transport to Hawaii.
