NFC blows out AFC at Pro Bowl

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw two touchdown passes in the pivotal second quarter to lead the NFC to a 62-35 victory over the AFC today before a sellout crowd at Aloha Stadium.

The NFC scored 31 points in both halves to easily beat the favored AFC. Seattle rookie quarterback Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes in the second half to keep the NFC in command. Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph, who was an alternate, was named the MVP after catching eight passes for 122 yards and one touchdown. Giants receiver Victor Cruz led all receivers with 10 catches for 96 yards and one score. Tampa Bay’s Vincent Jackson caught two touchdown passes to help the NFC get the win.

The AFC was plagued by turnovers. They lost two fumbles and had three passes intercepted. Cincinatti’s E.J. Green caught three touchdown passes for the AFC.
