Kauai crews aid Florida man injured on shoreline hike
Kauai fire rescue personnel assisted a 25-year-old visitor from Florida who was injured Sunday after being knocked over by waves in remote rocky area in Princeville.
The man and his wife had been hiking and taking pictures in an area below the Pali Ke Kua condominiums, fire officials said.
The man was airlifted to safety and transported by ambulance to Wilcox Memorial Hospital. His condition was not disclosed.
