Hawaii sailing team places fifth
Hawaii placed fifth out of eight schools at the South Florida Women’s Intersectional sailing regatta over the weekend at the south end of Tampa Bay, Fla.
Competing for the Rainbow Wahine in the A division, Madeline Kennedy and Katrina Berry placed sixth with 126 points, and Hanne Nagatani and Lindsay Stewart scored a fourth-place finish with 149 points.
Stanford won the regatta title with 151 points.
The Rainbow Wahine travel to the Saint Mary’s Intersectional in Maryland, March 16-17.
