Kapalama man, 59, arrested on sex assault of a child
A 59-year-old Kapalama man was arrested Monday afternoon after allegedly sexually assaulting a young boy at his home.
Police said the victim, who is under the age of 10, is the relative of the suspect’s wife and that the child was recently placed in the couple’s care.
The suspect turned himself in, arrested on two counts of first-degree sexual assault, and then released pending investigation.
