Deedy jurors go home again without reaching a verdict
A Circuit Court jury spent a third full day in deliberations today without reaching a verdict in State Department special agent Christopher Deedy’s murder trial.
The panel will resume deliberations Thursday.
The jury spent Thursday afternoon and three days this week deliberating in the case.
Deedy, 29, is charged with murdering Kollin Elderts, 23, of Kailua, in the shooting the early morning of Nov. 5, 2011, at the McDonald’s Kuhio Avenue restaurant.
The trial spanned five weeks and included 20 days of testimony
