Man arrested for allegedly trying to run over another man
A 21-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after police tracked him down for allegedly trying to run over another man several months ago in Waianae.
Police said the victim, a 20-year-old man, reported that the older man tried to run him over with a vehicle about 5 p.m. Jan. 17.
Plain clothes officers found the alleged driver at his Waianae home about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday and arrested him for investigation of second-degree murder. He was released pending investigation.
