Police arrest felon driving stolen motorcycle
A 41-year-old parolee with a long string of convictions was arrested Monday night near the University of Hawaii Law School for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.
Police said the suspect also faces a charge of parole violation. The suspect was convicted of 17 misdemeanors and two felonies, including second-degree assault, starting in 1991.
The suspect was seen driving the motorcycle on Dole Street fronting the law school when he was stopped at 5:30 p.m. Monday and ran from police. Police determined the motorcycle had been stolen.
