Boy, 4, nearly drowns in Ewa Beach public pool
A 4-year-old boy was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition this afternoon after an apparent near-drowning in a public pool.
The boy was swimming at a city recreation center pool in Ewa Beach.
Paramedics arrived at the scene about 6 p.m. The boy was transported to Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children.
