Police, sheriffs seek inmate mistakenly released a week early
Police and state sheriffs are looking for a 51-year-old Oahu Community Correctional inmate who was mistakenly released Friday.
OCCC inmate Edward Robins was released at 4:55 p.m. Friday, but was supposed to be released Sept. 13.
Public Safety spokeswoman Toni Schwartz said the error was due to a complication with the paperwork.
Robins was serving time for third-degree assault.
Anyone who knows Robins’ whereabouts is asked to call police.
