Tanna Dang, owner of Eden in Love clothing boutique in Ward Warehouse, has won the top prize in the National Retail Federation’s “This is Retail” video contest. Her video showed how the store raises funds monthly for nonprofit organizations and community members in need.

Dang, her husband and the store’s general manager traveled to Wash., D.C. For the NRF annual conference this week as one of three finalists, and only learned of the ranking of their win this morning. The two other winners received $15,000 and $10,000, respectively.

Dang earlier told the Star-Advertiser the company would use any winnings to travel to an impoverished village in another country for a service project to help the village become self-sustaining.

Nearly one million votes were cast online during the national contest.
